Method:
Our artist started with the architect’s two-dimensional sketch shown
(below). Using photo-manipulation techniques, images of building
materials were superimposed on the sketch’s scan and placed into a
photo of the actual site. Where necessary, 3D rendering was applied. In
this example, 3D views of the cupola and walkway connection were added.
In this rendering, a manufacturer’s specific brand and color shingle
was used.
